Recycled Glass Countertops

The Vetrazzo story began in 1996 when a scientist from Berkeley, California, who was fascinated by the properties of glass, invented an entirely new product using an innovative mix of recycled glass that could be used to create highly durable and beautifully colored slabs. Each 5’ x 9’ 3cm slab is composed of 85% recycled glass, that’s 550 lbs. of glass per each 700 lb. slab. Each individual slab is handcrafted and American-made with each piece of glass placed by hand.
